The opportunity: HWLE Lawyers has a rare opportunity for an experienced Marketing & BD Coordinator to join our national Marketing and Business Development team. We are seeking a proactive marketing professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, contributing ideas, and supporting the delivery of high-quality marketing, business development and tender initiatives. This role offers exposure to a broad range of activities and the opportunity to work closely with our lawyers and stakeholders across the firm.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting client proposals and tender submissions.
• Preparing capability statements and marketing collateral.
• Maintaining business development content.
• Assisting with a range of projects that support client growth and engagement.
• Preparing and distributing external communications.
• Supporting content updates across the firm's website and LinkedIn channels.
• Providing assistance through the marketing helpdesk.

To succeed in this role, ideally, you'll have:

• Experience supporting marketing, business development, bids and tenders, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality client outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare compelling client proposals, tender responses, capability statements and marketing collateral with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience within a professional services environment (favourable), with an understanding of the importance of client service delivery and relationship management.
• An eagerness to learn, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge thinking constructively and continually develop new skills, knowing support and guidance is available.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and develop trusted working partnerships.
• Self-motivated and proactive, taking ownership of tasks, identifying opportunities for improvement and anticipating client and team needs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and deliver client-focused outcomes.
• Organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality.
• A commitment to understanding client needs, delivering service excellence and contributing to long-term client relationships.
