Hutchinson Civil is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Foreman / Supervisor to lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across the Albury/Wodonga region. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving programme, productivity, safety and commercial outcomes on site.
The Role
- Take ownership of day-to-day site operations including leading all on-site construction activities such as labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
- Manage programme to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
- Monitor productivity and cost performance to protect project margins.
- Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS and environmental requirements.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager to manage variations, risks and client expectations.
- Mentor and develop colleagues and site teams.
- Maintain accurate site records, reporting and documentation.
You will play a critical role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
About You
- 5+ years' experience in a Site Manager or Senior Foreman role within civil construction.
- Strong experience in subdivisions, bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage or similar.
- Proven ability to manage programme and cost performance.
- Confident leading teams and subcontractors on active sites.
- Sound understanding of WHS obligations and site compliance.
- Strong communication skills with clients, engineers and suppliers.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset.
