About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering projects across a combination of mechanical, piping, structural, civil and electrical disciplines. • Provide practical technical solutions to project and site challenges
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation

  • Manage contract administration, progress claims, variations and extensions of time
  • Support project tendering, estimating and pre-contract activities
  • Assist with business development and identifying new opportunities
  • Support project commissioning, close-out and handover
  • Contribute to improving HUSQ systems, processes and project delivery

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, commercially aware and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage projects while also understanding what is happening on site. You will ideally have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' construction industry experience
  • A strong mechanical or multi-discipline project background
  • Experience working across construction and site-based environments
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong project planning, scheduling and cost-control skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • A good understanding of construction safety, risk management and quality requirements
  • Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
  • A current C-Class driver's licence
  • A current White Card

Experience with mining, resources or infrastructure projects and competency with MS Project or other scheduling software will be highly regarded.
