- We are seeking an experienced
Principal Technical Specialist to support a major enterprise firewall replacement and upgrade program.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on Check Point firewall deployments, upgrades and migrations within a large, complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Check Point firewall deployments, replacements, upgrades and configuration.
- Support Palo Alto firewalls and Secure Web Gateway technologies.
- Integrate firewall infrastructure with Cisco routing and switching.
- Support F5 LTM, GTM and WAF solutions.
- Manage firewall policies and rulebase optimisation using Algo Sec.
- Troubleshoot complex network security issues and provide Level 3 technical support.
- Produce technical designs, implementation plans, change and rollback documentation.
- Work with project teams, vendors and operational teams to deliver firewall upgrades.

Essential
- Extensive hands-on Check Point firewall experience, including builds, upgrades and replacements.
- Strong knowledge of Check Point Smart Console and firewall management.
- Enterprise Cisco routing and switching experience.
- Proven experience delivering firewall implementation or migration projects.
- Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation and change management skills.
