Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions
- Perform bank, creditors, intercompany reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of BAS
- Cash flow monitoring and reporting
- Liaising with external suppliers / contractors
- Assist with audit requirements
- General clerical duties, including responding to emails and answering phone calls
- Ongoing bookkeeping and financial management activities
- Supporting ad-hoc reporting
Skills & Experience
- Must be an Australian citizen / valid PR to apply for this position
- This is an office-based role in Sydney; working from home is not available
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Australia
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, and/or Commerce
- Previous property and/or construction accounting experience in Australia (preferred)
- High attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with Xero
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Positive, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment
