About the Role
Partner with one of South East Queensland's largest local government organisations to deliver critical Waste & Resource Recovery infrastructure projects. You will provide hands-on project management to deliver critical infrastructure aimed at reducing environmental risks, installing wastewater infrastructure, and improving environmental outcomes across Council's Waste Management Facilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of landfill, waste infrastructure, and leachate management projects.
- Ensure strict environmental compliance and implement operational improvement initiatives.
- Manage project lifecycles - develop schedules, manage budgets, track KPIs, and mitigate risk.
- Lead end-to-end procurement and contract administration for external suppliers and consultants.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams, site personnel, and external vendors.
- Champion site safety, schedule adherence, and budget control, applying Agile methodologies where relevant.
