This crucial role is heavily focused on the end-to-end build, deployment, and configuration of Check Point firewalls, alongside providing expert support for Palo Alto solutions. You will provide advanced technical expertise, hands‑on implementation, and strategic advice on firewall infrastructure to ensure optimal network security, performance, and continuous compliance within a fast‑paced, enterprise environment.
What You Will Do:
Lead the end-to-end deployment, upgrade, and configuration of Check Point firewalls as the primary platform.
Support and optimise firewall environments across Check Point and Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway (SWG), ensuring seamless integration with Cisco routing and switching.
Orchestrate firewall rule bases and optimise policies via the AlgoSec platform to ensure continuous compliance and governance.
Monitor firewall health and performance using SolarWinds, providing advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution.
Develop and maintain essential technical documentation, including solution designs, ICT change plans, implementation procedures, and testing artefacts.
