MAINTENANCE CREW MEMBER – Civil Labourer (Asphalt & Concrete)
About the Role:
Location: Cleveland
Hours: 6AM - 3PM
Work Week: 9 Day Fortnight (engoy a longer weekend every 2 week)
Rate: $36.81
Duties
- Deliver operational maintenance for civil, asphalt, and concrete assets.
- Perform hands-on asphalt laying, patching, concrete pouring, screeding, and finishing.
- Utilise asset management systems to log and remediate defects.
- Operate and maintain a range of plant, tools, and heavy civil equipment safely.
- Provide practical technical advice to team members and customers.
- Uphold strict workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
Skills & Experience
- Required: Proven hands-on civil laboring experience with direct expertise in asphalt and concrete works.
- Current Class 'C' Driver's Licence (MR or HR preferred).
- Physical fitness for strenuous outdoor laboring tasks.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
- Cert II/III in Civil Construction or plant tickets highly regarded.
