TERMI Home & Commercial is looking for experienced Wall and Floor Tilers for existing and upcoming projects in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs Regional area.

Duties & responsibilities of a Wall and Floor Tiler

• Lay tiles as per customer order/specifications, patterns, layouts
• Prepare job site by measuring, marking out the area, and arranging the tiles in patterns as per work order.
• Applying the required amount of adhesive to prepared areas and tiles to ensure proper bonding.
• Apply grout accurately to secure tiles in place.
• Cutting tiles to the needed sizes and shapes using relevant tools
• Working with different type of tiles such as, travertine, porcelain, limestone, ceramic, Mosaic
• Cleaning, prepping and priming walls and floors, including removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes or cracks for a smooth base, and performing general cleaning.
• Attention to detail - ensuring that tiles are spaced evenly
• Installing waterproofing systems on designated surfaces (if required).

Qualification/Skills Required

• The ideal candidate must possess a Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling, or certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling with on-the-job training or 2 years post qualification experience, or Minimum 3 years' experience as a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler
• Good practical skills
• The ability to follow design plans
• Accuracy and attention to detail
