Hotel Nelson is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team in our beautiful seaside location in Nelson Bay, NSW. This is a casual role. Must have 7-day availability. Shifts are a mix of 7am-3pm or 1pm to 8pm.
What you'll be doing:
- Greeting and welcoming guests with exceptional customer service
- Checking guests in and out efficiently and effectively
- Handling guest inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Providing information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions
- Assisting with luggage handling and other guest services as required
- Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk area
- Adhering to all hotel policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (desirable)
