As a Casual Bar & Gaming Attendant, you'll be responsible for providing friendly, efficient and professional service across multiple areas of the venue.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Operating POS systems, handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
Assisting patrons in the Gaming Room and ensuring a high standard of service.
Completing gaming paperwork and following all required gaming procedures.
Maintaining clean, tidy and well-stocked bar and gaming areas.
Monitoring and adhering to RSA and RSG requirements.
Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
Following venue policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
Working collaboratively with management and fellow team members.
Being proactive, using initiative and assisting wherever needed during your shift.
What We're Looking For
We're after people who are reliable, motivated and genuinely enjoy working in hospitality.
To be successful, you'll need:
A current Queensland RSA certificate
A current Queensland RSG certificate
Previous bar and/or gaming experience, highly regarded.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Confidence handling cash and using POS systems.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
A willingness to help across different areas of the venue.
Availability to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
Most importantly, we're looking for people who show initiative, are dependable and take pride in doing their job properly.
