Their impressive fleet comprises over 20 diverse vehicles, including Curtain Side, Scrap, Flat Top, and Tipper Trucks, ensuring they can meet a wide range of logistical needs with efficiency and professionalism.
They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join the team on a permanent basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records for fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Inspecting vehicles to identify potential mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety and roadworthiness standards.
- Ensuring workshop tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment are used and maintained appropriately.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures while performing mechanical tasks.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and malfunctions in diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and related systems using diagnostic equipment.
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, and steering components.
- Dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective engine parts and components.
- Conducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of engine components.
Skills and Experience:
- Certificate IV qualification in a relevant field is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
- A motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong drive to excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Salary Package:
$75,000 - $90,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
