Salary $100,000+ | On-Farm Accommodation Available
Newington Farm is seeking an experienced and accomplished horse breaker to join our professional team in 2027.
Located at Biddaddaba in South East Queensland’s beautiful Scenic Rim, Newington Farm is an established thoroughbred breaking-in, pre-training and spelling operation with outstanding facilities and a reputation for producing well-educated young horses.

Job Responsibilities
The successful applicant will work alongside experienced horseman Stuart Christie and our established team, breaking-in and educating young horses in a professional, well-resourced environment.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience breaking-in and starting young horses under saddle.
- Be a confident, capable and patient horseperson with excellent horsemanship skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of correct early education and horse development.
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Take pride in producing confident, well-mannered and correctly educated horses.
While thoroughbred experience is highly regarded, applications from experienced horse people in the equestrian, stock horse, warmblood and performance horse industries are strongly encouraged. Applicants must be able to commit to high standards of professionalism in everything they do.
