We are seeking an experienced, professional and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our acupuncture clinic on a casual basis.
Estimated Days and Hours availability:
- Tuesday 6:30am - 12:00pm
- Thursday 12:30pm - 6:00pm
- Saturday 6:30am - 12:00pm
Hours will be shared between two candidates depending on availability and the needs of the clinic.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing patient appointments, bookings and cancellations
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Processing payments and managing appointment reminders
- Providing friendly, professional and compassionate patient service
- Maintaining accurate patient records and general administrative duties
- Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
- Preparing and allocating patients to treatment rooms
About you:
- Previous medical or allied health reception experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using booking systems and computers
- A professional, friendly and caring manner
- Ability to work independently and maintain patient confidentiality
- Reliability and attention to detail
- Must have their own reliable car and a valid driver's license to ensure reliable transport to and from the clinic for all required shifts.
