APS6 Project Officer to support the delivery of complex ICT and digital transformation initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across technical and business teams to drive project outcomes.
Reporting to senior project leadership, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, monitoring deliverables, supporting governance processes, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects remain on track against agreed priorities and timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the delivery of ICT project activities across a complex program environment.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, risk and issue registers, action logs and reporting documentation.
- Prepare governance packs, meeting agendas, minutes, briefing papers and status reports.
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies and deliverables, escalating risks and issues where required.
- Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Support project governance, planning, prioritisation and continuous improvement activities.
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate
- Experience supporting or coordinating projects within a complex ICT or digital delivery environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience developing and maintaining project management artefacts and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving capability.
- Experience working within Federal Government or Agile project environments will be highly regarded.
