One of Australia’s leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Information Management System Administrator to support the installation, configuration and maintenance of critical software infrastructure. The successful candidate will work across operating systems, middleware, information management platforms and database environments, ensuring systems remain stable, secure, scalable and highly available.
The successful Information Management System Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Managing and supporting operating systems, infrastructure software, middleware and utility software
- Administering Windows Server environments and supporting Oracle databases using SQL
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising system software performance across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Managing software updates, upgrades, configuration, testing and the lifecycle of information management and EDRMS platforms
The successful Information Management System Administrator will have experience in the following:
- Proven experience in Windows Server administration
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Experience supporting middleware, operating systems and infrastructure software
- Experience with database management, EDRMS/information management systems, scripting or automation
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major Federal Government environment on an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options. The role is based onsite in Canberra.
