One of Australia'shigh profile Federal Government departmentsis looking to engage an experiencedSenior Data Manager to contribute to planning, implementing and reporting on the body of work to ensure alignment to strategic objectives and AI readiness outcomes. The successfulSenior Data Managerwill secure a12 month contract with the view to be extended for up to a further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!
The successfulSenior Data Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Contributing to project scope, governance arrangements, success measures, delivery cadence and reporting requirements.
- Leading stakeholder engagement with key subject matter experts, data stewards, data engineers/analysts, and AI project contacts.
- Lead and manage staff including performance, attendance, and health and wellbeing.
The successfulSenior Data Manager will have experience in the following:
- Strong experience in data governance, data quality assurance and data integrity, including developing data quality rules, implementing controls and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, privacy and security requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis, collection, integration and management, including assessing data accuracy, identifying inconsistencies and improving data quality across complex enterprise systems.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, project delivery and data management initiatives, including gathering business requirements, developing data standards and supporting data-driven decision-making and AI readiness.
