HiQA Geotechnical WA, part of the HiQA Group, is seeking experienced Senior Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians to join our growing Western Australian team.
We have opportunities available for both local Perth-based project work and FIFO positions, offering experienced technicians the chance to work on a range of civil construction and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunities
We are offering full-time positions, with the following work arrangements:
Local Perth Project: Monday to Friday, 11.5-hour days.
FIFO Projects: 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster, departing from Perth only.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking experienced, capable technicians who can confidently undertake field testing and deliver accurate, reliable results.
Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or higher qualification.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT).
Current Radiation Licence.
Current unrestricted driver's licence.
Proven experience conducting testing in accordance with Australian Standards (AS) and Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA) test methods.
Experience in soil, aggregate and other construction materials testing.
Ability to work independently, maintain accurate testing records and meet quality requirements.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Engineering graduates and qualified engineers are welcome to apply; however, a minimum of 2 years' practical Construction Materials Testing experience gained in Australia is essential. An engineering qualification alone does not replace the requirement for hands-on CMT experience.
