We are seeking a passionate Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn Albany. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious breakfast buffet to our hotel guests. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold breakfast items for the hotel's buffet, ensuring consistently high quality presentation and taste.
- Manage the cooked-to-order egg station, preparing eggs in various styles based on guest preferences.
- Restock and replenish the buffet throughout service to maintain full and well-presented offerings.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the wider hotel team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Passion for providing high-quality food and excellent customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
