We are a civil engineering consultancy based in the heart of Parramatta, delivering a variety of infrastructure projects across Sydney. We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing projects from initial design through to completion and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing consultancy.
About the role
- Designing and preparing water and sewer infrastructure plans using AutoCAD
- Reviewing building and structural plans for compliance with Sydney Water standards
- Certifying and stamping plans where appropriately accredited
- Ensuring drawings and documentation meet relevant technical requirements
- Liaising with clients, Sydney Water and other project stakeholders
- Undertaking field inspections
- Preparing work-as-constructed plans and lodging completion packages
- Supporting other civil engineering projects, including road and drainage design where required
About you
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- At least two years of relevant industry experience, although strong applicants with less experience are encouraged to apply
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience in water and sewer infrastructure design
- Sydney Water C2 accreditation, or progress towards accreditation, is highly regarded
- Experience in road and drainage design is advantageous
- A current White Card and unrestricted driver's licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The confidence to communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
- Valid Australian working rights
