Hilands is a cementing company based in Moranbah, Tieri and Duaringa. We are a small and dynamic team looking for the right person to lead the workshop.
About the role
- Building, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical equipment in field and workshop environments.
- Consistently prioritise and adhere to health and safety processes and procedures.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.
- Strict adherence to Quality Assurance processes.
- General maintenance, breakdowns and diagnosis of road transport equipment and heavy mobile machinery.
- Component changeouts and servicing of road transport equipment and heavy mobile machinery.
About you
- Trade Qualified Mechanic Certificate III - Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar.
- Post-trade experience working in the mining, heavy mobile equipment, heavy road transport industries.
- Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns and diagnosis.
- Demonstrated experience with a wide range of OEM equipment.
- High regard and practice of health and safety.
Casual, part-time and full-time positions available (happy to work in with your preference for rosters). Hourly rate plus overtime, provided accommodation, meal allowance, FIFO/DIDO or local. A supportive work environment focused on safety.
