Highgreen Projects is seeking an ambitious and driven Junior Site Manager to join our growing construction team in North Brisbane.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Supervisor, Foreman or Junior Site Manager looking to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to larger, more complex commercial construction projects.
Working alongside experienced senior construction professionals, you'll play an integral role in the delivery of projects while developing the technical, leadership and site management skills required to progress into a senior site management position.

The Opportunity
Working closely with the Senior Site Manager, you'll assist in the day to day delivery of commercial construction projects, taking ownership of site activities and progressively increasing your responsibilities.
Your role will include:
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and daily site operations.
- Assisting with construction programming, sequencing and program delivery.
- Monitoring site progress and ensuring works are completed to required timeframes.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and site compliance.
- Reviewing construction drawings and ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinating site inspections, quality checks and defect management.
- Identifying and resolving day to day site issues.
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors.
- Maintaining effective site documentation and reporting.
- Developing your leadership capabilities with the opportunity to take on greater project responsibility.
About You
You'll already have a solid foundation in commercial construction and be ready to take the next step.
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Previous site supervision experience within commercial construction.
- Experience with a commercial head contractor, ideally within a Tier 2, Tier 3 or Tier 4 builder.
- Exposure to commercial projects up to $10m.
- Experience delivering projects from commencement through to completion.
- Exposure to education, aged care, government, medical, fuel or retail.
- A strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and subcontractor coordination.
- The ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands on approach and the confidence to manage trades on site.
- Above all, we're looking for someone with ambition, accountability and a genuine desire to develop into a capable Site Manager.
