HenderCare is seeking a Casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker to join our team to support our aged care clients in their homes across the Eastern and Southeast Suburbs (Glen Waverley, Caulfield, Burwood, Rowville, Camberwell, Hawthorn, Mulgrave, Ferntree Gully, Croydon, and Cranbourne, Pakenham, Berwick, Surrounding Suburbs).
About The Role
You will attend multiple clients' homes to assist in keeping their homes safe and habitable by minimising environmental health and safety hazards. Tasks include:
- Gutter cleaning
- Basic window cleaning
- Oven and fan cleaning
- Lawn mowing
- Pruning
- Weeding
- Hedge trimming
- Replacing smoke alarm batteries
- Minor home maintenance
About You (Must Have)
- Previous gardening and maintenance experience
- Reliable smartphone for AlayaCare App roster access (iOS 16+ or Android 10+)
- Own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle
- Have an unrestricted Australian Driver's License
- Have access to a UTE/Trailer to transport the equipment and tools
- Have a current National Police Check
- Have a current Working With Children Check
