Our client is a leading global professional services firm recognised for delivering sophisticated, commercially focused advice to businesses, investors and high-net-worth individuals.
Following significant expansion of its Australian tax practice, the firm is seeking experienced Managers and Senior Managers to join its Sydney team across four specialist tax disciplines.
Combining the resources and international reach of a global advisory firm with an entrepreneurial culture, this is an opportunity to work on complex advisory engagements with greater autonomy and fewer traditional corporate constraints.
- Advise high-net-worth individuals, family groups and privately owned businesses
- Provide strategic tax advice covering complex structures, succession planning and wealth-related transactions
- Advise domestic and multinational businesses on corporate taxation, restructuring and complex tax matters
- Deliver commercially focused tax advisory and compliance services
M&A / Transaction Tax: Manager / Senior Manager
- Undertake tax due diligence, transaction structuring and advisory work on acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations
- Work on significant domestic and cross-border transactions
- Advise on stamp duty and state tax implications of property, corporate and commercial transactions
- Provide specialist advice on transaction structuring, exemptions and complex duty matters
About You
- Currently operating at Manager or Senior Manager level, or ready for promotion
- Strong technical expertise in at least one of the four tax specialisms
- Background in a Big 4, mid-tier or specialist tax advisory practice
- Commercial mindset with strong client relationship and communication skills
- CA, CTA, Masters of Tax or relevant tax qualifications preferred
