Casual Food Services Assistant
Are you a passionate hospitality professional who thrives on delivering exceptional food service and creating positive patient experiences? We are looking for an assistant on a casual basis covering weekend shifts and occasional weekday work. You will collaborate within a dynamic team to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays.
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards.
Essential criteria
- Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (or willingness to attain).
- Experience in healthcare food services.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent time‐management skills.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
- COVID vaccination certificate.
- Working with Children Check required.
- Current Police Check.
