About the role:
Join our expert team in the NT’s premier cardiac catheter facility. The Cath Lab is a busy and dynamic unit which provides a variety of specialist services, including left and right heart procedures, angioplasty, implanted cardiac devices, cardiac electrophysiology, TOE Cardioversions and vascular interventions. It is an exciting place to work, and you will be joining a team committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Experience in Angiography or coronary care is highly regarded; however, we would consider training the right candidate. Our education program is well established, and we will ensure your training needs are met. You’ll be joining a strong, innovative team, and would have the opportunity to develop and grow your cardiac skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high standard of safe, evidence-based nursing care including, in-lab skills such as scrub, scout and haemodynamic monitoring of patients.
- Actively participate in quality improvement, safety and risk management initiatives which positively impact on patient care outcomes.

- Mentor Graduate Nurses and students on clinical rotation.
- Support our community via an On-Call roster for after hours, weekends and public holidays.
Current Registration with AHPRA (no restrictions) and a Bachelor of Nursing Science equivalent is required. Flexibility to work across a range of shifts and be on call is essential. Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality patient care is expected. Proven ability to work effectively in a high functioning team is necessary, along with excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Sound computer skills are also required. Experience in Cath Lab as a Registered Nurse is desired but not essential, as are Post Graduate Qualifications in Cardiac care or working towards them.
