Join our Facilities Casual Pool on Kangaroo Island and assist in supporting the smooth operation of the health unit by performing a variety of general facility and building maintenance tasks. You will work both indoors and outdoors, supporting the upkeep of buildings, fixtures, gardens, and grounds to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Maintain the health unit’s facilities and grounds, performing maintenance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and mechanical tasks.
- Operate machinery, including forklifts and tractors, and maintain watering systems and garden areas.
- Support safe work practices and compliance with workplace health, safety, and infection control requirements.
- Assist in training and guiding other employees to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

- Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.
