Haynes is currently recruiting for experienced
Trades Assistants / Assemblers to join a leading manufacturer of quality transportable buildings based in Paget.
These hands-on workshop roles offer excellent hourly rates, stable hours and the opportunity to secure ongoing employment with a respected local employer.
Working within a busy production environment, you will assist in the fabrication, assembly and fit-out of transportable buildings. Duties may include:
- Steel fabrication activities including measuring, cutting, grinding, drilling and welding assistance.
- Assembly and installation of flooring, doors, windows, fixtures and fittings.
- Installation and finishing of insulated wall and roof panels, trims and flashings.
- Safe use of hand and power tools.
- Material handling, staging and preparation of completed buildings for transport.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping

- Attractive flat rates of
$50-$55 per hour based on experience.
- Monday to Friday roster with overtime and occasional Saturday work available.

About You
To be successful, you will possess
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, assembly or a similar environment.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Experience interpreting measurements, drawings and work instructions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Good physical fitness and manual handling capability.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Welding and fabrication experience highly regarded.
