A lifestyle hotel located in Glebe, Sydney's Inner West, is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the role of Part-Time Guest Services Agent within the Front Office Department. The ideal candidates must have excellent customer service skills, pride themselves on immaculate presentation and thrive in a friendly, motivated team environment.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:
- Check in and check out of hotel guests
- Maintaining guest accounts
- Taking reservations when required
- Assisting with all guest inquiries
- Directing internal and external phone calls
You will also be responsible for ensuring that all guests feel welcome and comfortable whenever they have contact with the Front Office Department. Creating a professional impression as an ambassador for the hotel at all times will be of utmost importance.
The successful candidate will have:
- Sound knowledge of Front Office Operations
- Excellent grooming and presentation skills
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm
- A willingness to use initiative and solve problems
- Reliability and loyalty
- Experience in a similar role within a hotel environment
- Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends or public holidays
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Fluent English required; additional languages advantageous
