About the Role You'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of residential projects from assessment through to final certification, working closely with homeowners, builders, architects and designers.
Responsibilities
- Assess Class 1a and 10 building applications.
- Conduct mandatory building inspections throughout construction.
- Issue building approvals and certification documentation.
- Provide technical advice on the NCC and Queensland legislation.
- Liaise with builders, clients, architects and consultants.
- Ensure projects comply with all relevant legislation and building standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the certification process.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Current Queensland Level 3 Building Certifier licence (essential).
- Experience assessing and inspecting residential building projects.
- Strong knowledge of the NCC and Queensland building legislation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- A carpentry background will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
