As Interpretive Lead, you'll bridge the gap between raw information and emotional audience engagement, turning client objectives into stories that stay with visitors long after they leave.
Your main role is to create clear, concise and engaging written content and detailed briefs for designers, AV teams, and suppliers, aligning with client goals, project scope, schedule, and budget.
This agency's projects span museums, visitor centres and immersive experiences, working with Australia's cultural institutions and corporate brands.
You'll own the interpretive strategy and content across every medium: written, audiovisual, digital, and physical, and you'll bring a blend of planning, storytelling, and content craft to every project.
On smaller projects you also set the creative direction; on large-scale projects you work within the spatial and creative direction set by the Head of Design, making sure the interpretive layer is as strong as the spaces that carry it.
With exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you'll have experience developing exhibits for museums, galleries, visitor centres, or heritage organisations, setting and holding creative direction on small to mid-scale projects.
Experience with AV production and interactive technologies is highly desirable and a background in education or training is a plus.
Whilst this opportunity is based in the Gold Coast, Queensland, working remotely from within Australia is definitely an option for the right person with the required skills and experience (no overseas applications or sponsorship).
Collaboration is key here, as are your communication skills.
There is a comprehensive JD ready to be shared with selected candidates.
I have attached her PD for you and look forward to your thoughts.
