Role Overview

The Senior Technical Consultant plays a key role in delivering technical expertise, trusted advice and exceptional service outcomes to Inter Intra's clients.

Working across a diverse range of customer environments, you will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, provide strategic guidance and identify opportunities to improve stability, performance and security.

Acting as a senior escalation point, you will work closely with engineers, client stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure issues are managed effectively and resolved efficiently.

Beyond technical delivery, this role will contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the Brisbane team, providing mentorship, sharing knowledge and supporting less experienced engineers.

This opportunity will suit a technically strong consultant who enjoys balancing hands‑on problem solving with relationship building, mentoring and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience providing senior‑level technical support across infrastructure, cloud, network and end‑user environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage complex technical incidents through to resolution.
• Experience acting as an escalation point for support teams and providing technical guidance to engineers.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and third‑party vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and modern IT environments, including cloud‑based platforms and hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience supporting and improving operational processes, documentation standards and service delivery practices.
• Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the optimisation of client environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members to develop their technical capability and confidence.
• A customer‑focused approach with a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes and exceptional service.
