Harris & Williams Electrical is a locally owned and operated electrical and air conditioning business servicing Canberra, Queanbeyan and the surrounding region. We're looking for a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to join our team in a varied administration role.
This position is part-time (up to 3 days per week or 25 hours per week), with flexible work hours and the opportunity for additional hours as the business continues to grow. The role would suit someone who enjoys a diverse workload, takes pride in their work and provides excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing customer enquiries and emails
Calendar scheduling and appointment management (including use of Tradify job management software)
Stocktakes and inventory management
Payroll processing
Accounts administration using Xero
Assisting with the pick-up and drop-off of equipment and materials for the team, if required
Providing friendly and professional customer service
The successful applicant will:
Have a strong work ethic, a positive attitudeand demonstrate common sense
Be organised and able to manage their own workload to meet deadlines
Be competent using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Be respectful, professional and approachable
Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Hold a current driver's licence
Experience with the following will be highly regarded:
Payroll processing
Xero
Tradify job management software (training will be provided if required)
