Hardi Aged Care is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our team at our Blacktown facility. You will work alongside the Head Chef to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents.
Shift Availability: Monday to Friday only.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with our four-week rotating menu, following standardised recipes and dietary requirements.
- Ensure all meals meet portion control, presentation and texture-modified dietary standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Previous experience in aged care is highly regarded.
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of nutritional and dietary requirements, including texture-modified meals.
- Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
