We're looking for a proactive Accountant to join our Expense Accounting team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and strong business partnering support. Based in our Kew Office, this permanent full-time opportunity offers exposure across a large, complex organisation and the chance to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Accountant
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Expense Accounting Lead, you will:
- Deliver month-end accounting and reporting activities in line with corporate deadlines
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities
- Partner with stakeholders across the business, particularly marketing teams, to provide financial guidance and support
- Assist with audit requirements and compliance obligations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the finance function
- Provide clear and meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making
What experience do I have?
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA/CPA qualification (or currently working towards completion)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
