Your Role
As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchens.
Working across a variety of restaurants, cafes and event venues, you’ll help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation while supporting our culinary teams during daily service.
- Where You’ll Make an Impact
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support kitchen teams with general cleaning and basic preparation duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with waste disposal and ensure back-of-house areas remain clean and organised.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow stewarding team members during busy service periods.
- What We’re Looking For
You are a reliable and motivated team member who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised workplace.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team and are willing to assist wherever needed.
To Be Successful, You Will Need
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, hospitality or cleaning environment is advantageous.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Valid working rights in Australia for a minimum of six months.
- Open Australian driver licence preferred for some roles.
