- Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced and personable
Transport Driver to join our Transport team on a full-time permanent basis.

Your Role
As a Transport Driver, you’ll be the first friendly face many guests see upon arrival.
You’ll transport them across the island while delivering warm welcomes and helpful commentary to elevate their experience.
- Where You’ll Make an Impact
- Greet and safely shuttle guests between airport, accommodation, restaurants, and island attractions.
- Operate scheduled shuttle loop and after-hours taxi services.
- Deliver engaging and informative island introduction commentary.
- Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage.
- Maintain vehicles in clean, safe, and operable condition at all times.
- What We’re Looking For
You’re a customer-focused, confident driver who enjoys engaging with people and sharing your local knowledge. Safety, professionalism, and hospitality are second nature to you.
To Be Successful, You Will Need
- Minimum QLD MR licence and a clean driving record.
- QLD Industry Authority - or eligibility to obtain one.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in bus driving.
- Tourism, resort or tour guide experience highly regarded.
- A passion for customer service and going the extra mile.
