The predicted salary is between 49500 - 60500 $ per year.
You will mainly be responsible for learning basic oil well operations in our Cementing division, including but not limited to:
- Pipe capacities and volume/height math
- Absolute volumes including total water requirements for job
- Hydrostatic and differential pressure
- Calculations to include liquid additives and weighted spacers
- Pressure to reverse and/or determining burst and collapse
This is an entry-level position that reports to the Service Coordinator and will be offered on an even time 3/3 FIFO roster flying from Brisbane, QLD.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop skills to operate and maintain Cementing equipment
- Understand basic operational activities and assist in equipment pre-job tests
- Learn basic Oil well operations using cement pumping and blending equipment
- Assist in rig-up and rig-down activities at the well site
- Operate heavy vehicles safely & efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-start inspections and report defects to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
- Adhere to fatigue & journey management and defensive driving principles
Role Requirements
- Current Unrestricted HC licence
- Strong focus on safety and operational awareness
- Able to work a physically active hands-on role
- Dedicated team player with aptitude for learning
- Forklift and/or Loader ticket (Desirable)
