About the client
Our client is a large NSW Government agency seeking an experienced Manager - Policy, Procurement and Operations to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead operational service delivery, procurement governance, contract management, and compliance functions within a complex and fast-paced environment.
About the role:
- Lead the day-to-day operations and business administration functions
- Oversee procurement activities and ensure compliance with the NSW Procurement Policy Framework, probity requirements and internal policies.
- Manage contracts and service providers, including oversight of the Ground Maintenance and Bushfire Risk Mitigation Contract.
- Support governance, risk, WHS and compliance activities across the business.
- Monitor operational performance, reporting, KPIs and service delivery outcomes.
- Coordinate audits, inspections and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and service providers.
About You:
- You will have proven experience in operations management within NSW Government or a similarly regulated environment.
- You will have demonstrated people leadership experience.
- You will have strong knowledge of NSW Procurement Policy Framework, and procurement governance requirements.
- You will have experience managing contracts, suppliers and service providers.
- You will have strong project management, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- You will have experience developing policies, procedures and operational frameworks.
- You will have knowledge of risk, compliance, audit and WHS requirements.
Benefits:
- ASAP start
- Temporary casual contract until 30 June 2027, with the potential for extension
- Full time hours Monday to Friday
- Parramatta location + Hybrid working from home arrangements
- $70-$90 per hour + super
