GWA Group is a leading innovator, designer, importer and supplier of sustainable water solutions for bathrooms, kitchens and laundries across residential and commercial spaces. With our iconic brands Caroma and Methven, and operations spanning Australia, New Zealand and the UK, we’re shaping a better, more sustainable future, one solution at a time.
We’re looking for an experienced Workday Functional Analyst to join GWA’s People & Performance team in North Sydney on a 9-month parental leave contract.
This is a genuinely hands-on Workday role. You’ll configure, maintain and optimise our Workday platform, manage data and reporting, troubleshoot issues and help us continually improve our processes and user experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Configure and test Workday business processes and enhancements
- Manage mass data uploads using Workday EIB, including preparation, validation and exception resolution
- Create and modify Workday reports to deliver better business insights
- Manage employee lifecycle transactions and maintain data integrity
- Troubleshoot Workday issues and work with external support where required
- Support Workday security, integrations and continuous system optimisation
- Contribute to the testing and implementation of Advanced Compensation
- Explore opportunities to use AI within Workday processes to drive efficiencies
What we’re looking for
This role needs someone who can get into the system and do the work, so demonstrated hands-on Workday experience is essential.
You must be able to demonstrate
- Strong, hands-on Workday configuration experience
- Practical experience using Workday EIBs
- Experience creating and developing Workday reports
- Experience configuring and testing business process enhancements
- Extensive Workday HCM experience and a solid understanding of HR processes
You’ll also bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business. Workday Pro HCM certification is preferred, but not essential.
If you’re a hands-on Workday specialist who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and turning data into useful insights, we’d love to hear from you.
