About the Role

This is a hands-on bookkeeper and finance support role where you'll become an important part of our day-to-day operations. Working closely with the Directors and external accountant, you'll take ownership of routine financial processes while helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

We're a small, supportive team that enjoys what we do. You'll work directly with experienced professionals in a positive, down-to-earth environment where your contribution will be appreciated and your ideas welcomed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable and creditor payments
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• End-to-end payroll processing, including superannuation and leave management
• Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with compliance obligations
• Managing inter-company transactions and loan accounts across related entities
• Monitoring ATO obligations and compliance requirements
• Commission calculations and payment processing
• Liaising with external accountants and professional advisors
• Preparing information for BAS, payroll tax, and year-end reporting
• Providing occasional administrative support to the Directors and broader team

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys accuracy, takes pride in your work, and can confidently manage bookkeeping responsibilities with minimal supervision. Ideally, you'll have:

• At least 3 years' bookkeeping experience
• Sound knowledge of payroll, superannuation, GST, and bookkeeping processes
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A proactive and self-motivated approach
• Experience within property, real estate, professional services, or commission-based businesses will be highly regarded.
• A Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (or equivalent experience) is preferred but not essential.
