Our client is a well-established and respected supplier of premium smallgoods, servicing supermarkets, independent retailers, cafés, restaurants and food service customers. They are seeking experienced HC Interstate Drivers on a permanent basis that will offer the opportunity to be a key part of our growing operations, delivering essential goods across state lines.
What you'll be doing:
- Safely operating HC vehicles to transport refrigerated smallgoods interstate, NSW, SA predominately Woolworth, Coles and various DC's
- Adhering to all traffic regulations, load restraint and safety protocols
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintaining accurate trip logs and documentation
- Providing excellent customer service and timely delivery of goods
- Collaborating with the Depot Managers to ensure efficient and reliable transport services
What we're looking for:
- Current MC driver's license with a strong driving record
- Proven experience operating HC vehicles, preferably in interstate general refrigerated freight transport
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards
