Ground Recruitment is a Pty Ltd company established in July 2022. It exclusively provides highly specialised permanent recruitment services and high-performance coaching to geotechnical engineers, geologists and select clients across Australia and New Zealand. This client is a privately owned and operated Australian company with the decision makers and owners residing mainly on the east coast of Australia. Their offices are in Brisbane, Melbourne and, most recently, Perth. They are technically focused and have a large team of Principals who are accessible. This company is well respected within our industry and has an extensive database of pile test results which is utilised for pile design, giving them a competitive edge on projects. Other areas of design include foundations, retention systems, ground improvement, temporary works, crane and drill pads and slope stability.
An opportunity exists for a Geotechnical Engineer to join the Brisbane team of around 30 technical staff.
Responsibilities / Experience
- Previous experience working on or running small to medium-sized ground investigations.
- Understanding of local ground conditions, sampling methods, drilling techniques, lab scheduling, OH&S, proposal writing, project management, ground models, and report writing of basic factual and interpretative reports.
- Exposure to software packages such as Plaxis 2d & 3d, Slide 2d, Settle 3d, CPet-IT, and Wallap.
