We have an exciting opportunity for aFire Panel Technicianservicing the Sydney Region, who is passionate about contributing to the success of our business. You'll have an allocated run across a variety of sites including Commercial sites, Offices, Retail etc, providing Service, Maintenance and Breakdowns.
What will you do?
- Regular testing and maintenance of fire alarm and detection systems
- Installation, programming & commissioning of fire alarm & detection systems where required
- Performing on site callouts with proven field service experience & ability to troubleshoot, test and repair.
- Communicate and engage with clients and other Grosvenor employees
- Identify issues and non-conformances
- Build strong team and client relationships
- Communicate clearly with clients and other Grosvenor employees
- Capitalise on the maintenance contract work by being vigilant for any potential repairs, upgrades, refurbs and new business opportunities
So what do we need?
- Trade qualification as an Electrician would be preferred but not essential
- Currentopen cabling license, driver's license and white card
- Hands on experience withfire electricalrepairs,testingemergency breakdowns, maintenance and installations within a commercial space
- Confidencewith computers and software including mobile apps
- Highly developedcommunication skills, professional attitude and great personal presentation
- Curiosity – someone who enjoys autonomy as well as working within a team, and aproactive self-starter
- Proven ability toachieve targetswhile maintainingfocus on quality
- EAHLpreferred but not required
- Experience in the programming of FIPs highly desirable
- Cert II in Fire Protection (optional)
- FPAS Accreditation (optional)
