Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 package (including superannuation)

About the Opportunity

Our client is currently seeking a creative, enthusiastic and motivated Visual Merchandiser to join a well-established and highly regarded Australian women's fashion brand.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging Visual Merchandiser looking to further develop their career within the fashion industry. Working closely with an experienced retail team, you will play an important role in bringing the brand's vision to life across retail stores and department store concessions.

We are looking for someone with a passion for fashion, a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and grow.

The position involves regular travel between the company's warehouse and retail store locations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, varied role rather than being desk-bound.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing creative visual merchandising concepts that enhance brand presentation and drive sales.
• Prepare visual merchandising (VM) packs, highlighting product features, benefits and display guidelines.
• Develop and communicate fortnightly VM directives, including promotional campaigns and seasonal sale setups.
• Support visual merchandising across retail and concessions stores.
• Coordinate ticketing, promotional signage and visual merchandising materials.
• Work closely with the merchandise and retail teams to ensure products are displayed effectively.
• Visit stores regularly to review visual presentation and maintain brand standards.
• Provide guidance and support to retail teams on visual merchandising standards and best practices.
• Assist with installing displays, seasonal launches and promotional setups.
• Support new store openings, refurbishments, relocations and store transitions.
• Monitor visual merchandising expenses and assist in delivering projects within budget.
• Identify opportunities to improve store presentation, customer engagement and sales performance.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fashion retail, has a creative flair and is excited about developing their visual merchandising career.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Previous experience in visual merchandising, fashion retail or a merchandising-related role.
• A strong interest in fashion, styling, store presentation and current retail trends.
• Creative flair with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with retail teams.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous.
• Experience working with department store concessions, particularly Myer or David Jones, would be highly regarded.
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, with the flexibility to travel.
