About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader - Landscaping Maintenance to maintain clients' gardens and grounds across Sydney's West & South-West including commercial estates, retirement villages, schools, business parks and industrial properties. You will work as a member of a small team, ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard. Your landscape maintenance skills, professionalism and ability to represent the Greenworx brand will be essential. The ideal candidate will reside close to St Mary's, Blacktown, Eastern Creek or Horsley Park and surrounds, for ease of travel to client sites in a company vehicle.
Essential experience and qualifications:
- 1 year+ experience as a Leading Hand Gardener / Team Leader of a maintenance crew
- Proven experience of getting the job done - brush-cutting, hedging, edging, mowing, mulching, litter picking and blow-downs.
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills
- A professional and positive approach with clients and staff
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Valid Driver’s License (Manual)
- OHS Induction - 'White Card'
- Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check, Police Check and Medical Assessment before starting
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks, including: Mowing, edging, blowing | Pruning, hedge & tree trimming | Weed control (including chemical use) | Litter picking
- Uphold Greenworx standards for safety, presentation and client service
- Ensure all garden waste is removed and transferred to authorised waste stations
- Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards
