The Financial Modelling Analyst will enable and support the outcomes and activities of the FPIT team by translating business requirements into technical model maps, building and enhancing financial models, and maintaining and optimising finance technologies/systems. The role will primarily focus on Anaplan but may also involve supporting other technologies in Greenstone’s finance landscape including Oracle NetSuite, Workiva, Coupa, AWS S3, PwC TaxAutomate and all integrations between systems.
Within Anaplan, the Financial Modelling Analyst will support existing use cases such as Budgeting & Forecasting, Management and Statutory Reporting, Treasury, OPEX planning, Workforce planning and help create and develop future use cases.
What are we looking for?
- Tertiary qualification in an Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM discipline
- Experience with Anaplan solutions/features including ADO, Polaris, Workflow or Cloudworks
- 2yrs+ post qualification experience in implementing/maintaining Anaplan models
- Technical understanding of API’s, integrations, data lakes and data flows
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills
- Industry experience in Financial Services
- Additional tertiary qualification in an Accounting or Finance discipline
- Proficient in SQL coding
- Exposure to automating workflows and utilising AI tools to improve business processes
