We are seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join us as Scrub/Scout, supporting our friendly theatre team. In this role you will have access to an outstanding working environment and opportunities to develop your skills within the perioperative space.
A Scrub/Scout Nurse provides technical expertise and meticulous patient care within the operating theatre, serving as a sterile scrub nurse assisting the surgical team or as a circulating scout nurse managing room logistics and equipment. This critical role ensures the maintenance of strict aseptic techniques, patient safety, and seamless intraoperative coordination to optimize surgical outcomes.
About You
- You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 2 years' perioperative experience as a Scrub/Scout nurse.
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations.
- Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
