Green light is looking for a hands‑on Network Engineer to design, implement, and support our enterprise data center and security infrastructure. You will own the architecture for our Cisco ACI fabric and Fortinet security estate, and you will also build, troubleshoot, and optimize the environment yourself. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable network services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Cisco ACI fabrics, including tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, L3Outs, and multi-site or multi-pod architectures.
  • Architect, deploy, and troubleshoot the Fortinet security suite, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager for centralized policy and device management, and FortiAnalyzer for logging, reporting, and analytics.
  • Design and manage routing using BGP and OSPF across data center, WAN, and perimeter environments, including route policy, redistribution, and convergence tuning.
  • Produce high‑level and low‑level designs, standards, and runbooks, and lead technical design reviews.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex network and security incidents, performing root cause analysis and driving permanent fixes.
  • Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and change activities with minimal service disruption.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements in performance, security, and automation.
  • Mentor network engineers and collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience designing and implementing Cisco ACI in production environments.
  • Strong, hands‑on expertise with the Fortinet firewall suite, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer, covering design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Deep understanding of BGP and OSPF, including path selection, policy control, and troubleshooting in large‑scale networks.
  • Solid grasp of data center networking concepts such as VXLAN, spine‑leaf architecture, and L2/L3 segmentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with packet capture, logs, and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to document designs clearly and communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
