We’re looking for a Café Barista for a casual/temporary hours role across multiple locations in Heathmont and Glen Waverley. This opportunity has the potential to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Requirements for this role:
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience required
- Casual/temporary hours with potential for a permanent role
- Available to work:
- Mon to Sun: Morning and Afternoon shifts
- Immediate start required
- Valid working rights in Australia
Job Summary:
- Employment across multiple locations: Heathmont & Glen Waverley
- Casual/temporary hours with the possibility of permanent employment
- Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends
- Competitive pay based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service, take orders, and process payments
- Prepare high-quality coffee (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.)
- Keep the café clean and organized (tables, counters, and common areas)
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Serve food and beverages with a friendly, professional attitude
- Manage tables efficiently and handle transactions accurately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Reliable, flexible, and available to work both Heathmont and Glen Waverley locations
- A genuine passion for coffee, food, and customer experience
